Art, wine, and conversation come together at the Gibbes on June 24. 🍷✨
In partnership with Slow Food Charleston, the Gibbes Museum is hosting an evening inspired by the works of Auguste Rodin that explores the connections between art, wine, and conscientious consumption through the lens of French winemaking traditions and Slow Wine principles.
The evening features Slow Food Charleston co-chair Kellie Holmes as moderator alongside wine and travel journalist Lauren Mowery and regenerative vigneron Drew Baker of Old Westminster Winery.
Guests will enjoy a guided tasting of Old Westminster's French varietals alongside classic French wines, followed by a tasting of seven additional French wines in the Rotunda surrounded by Rodin's sculptures.
Prefer to simply sip and stroll? Join us for the second hour only and enjoy French wines while exploring the galleries.
