Slow Wine Tasting

  • Charleston Library Society 164 King Street Charleston, SC, 29401 United States (map)

Join us for a Slow Wine tasting and discussion on Field Blends at The Charleston Library Society.

This Slow Wine event, centered on the art and tradition of field blends, is the last event of the year! After seasonal tastings and the occasional pop-up, Slow Wine Charleston leaders have planned an exceptional event with wines to match.

Moderated by Jason Nolley of Jessamine and Vine, this event features insights from Bree Stock MW (Limited Addition Wines), Bethany Heinze (Vern's), and Fred Merwarth and Oskar Bynke (Hermann J. Wiemer) as they explore the unique characteristics and histories of wines crafted from diverse grape varieties grown and harvested together. Discover how this age-old technique reflects terroir, promotes biodiversity, and creates complex, harmonious wines.

This event is supported by the Charleston Library Society, Mission Grape, Kellogg Selections, Jessamine and Vine, and Counter Cheese Caves.
